The exhibition can count on the loan of a masterpiece by Rembrandt depicting The Supper at Emmaus conserved at the Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris, thanks to the Royal Museums' customary policy of exchange with important Italian and European institutions. It is an opportunity to compare the French painting with the Portrait of an Old Sleeper from the Galleria Sabauda, one of the Dutch master's very rare paintings in the Italian national collections.
