Walk and cycle!
Let's walk in Noasca on Sunday 8, taking part in CleanALP. On the trail of the King, an excursion in the Gran Paradiso National Park from the hamlet Balmarossa to the former Royal Hunting Lodge of Gran Piano (2,222m, 900m elevation gain) following ancient mule tracks and admiring majestic views. The event is part of the CleanALP project, the first in the world to document and study plastic pollution in the mountains and show its impact: participants therefore have the opportunity to collaborate directly in scientific research by collecting the waste found along the route.
Also on Sunday 8, but a little further down the valley, in Carello of Locana, there is the VertiCialma, a fun, tough and selective 6km route with 1150m elevation gain, suitable for lovers of pure climbing but also for trail running enthusiasts, where fun and healthy exertion are guaranteed. At the finish line, the party will continue at the La Cialma mountain hut for a day of good food, music and fun for everyone.
And then we cycle... where?
At the weekend in Salassa with La Canavesana. Vintage cycling. Saturday 7 there is a food&wine bike ride... vintage clothing or accessories are welcome; Sunday 8 there is a 65km historic bike ride for bikes built before 1987; and there will also be an exhibition and exchange of vintage accessories/clothing/bikes, as well as a pasta party...
Finally, on Sunday 8, from Pino Torinese to Pecetto, one of the events of Discovering the Chieri area by bike: on the occasion of the Cherry Festival in Pecetto, a 34km loop that winds through paths, dirt roads and secondary roads, with challenging climbs and a stop at the Planetarium Infini.TO... but you need to be fit!
