The Susa Valley and Sangone Valley are the protagonists of the colours and flavours of the territory and tradition - from apples to chestnuts, from potatoes to wines to cheeses and honey - through festivals and fairs, tastings, food&wine walks and contests.
This week the appointment is on Sunday 12 in Vaie for the Festival of the Canestrello, which since 2024 has also been part of the regional event “Fieramente in Piemonte”. The event is combined with the “Gold Canestrello”, a contest dedicated to homemade products: the Canestrello of Vaie is also in the Basket of typical products of the Province of Torino and bears the “Dolce Valsusa” and the “Susa Valley typical product brand” labels.
