Comedy in dialect. A group of waiting people: but what can wait in the antechamber of a doctor's surgery if not the doctor himself? A glimpse of city life is thus portrayed by the various characters who crowd the waiting room, so that the stressful wait is transformed into a brilliant salon pastime. Each individual moves and speaks, always touched by those tints of the comic, the grotesque, of emptiness and silence, of stupefied obstinacy that are none other than those personal characteristics that colour everyday life. An irresistible comic, ironic and humorous plot runs through the entire play.
