Three concerts of the Schönberg/Schubert Festival are being dedicated by the Academy of Music Foundation on Tuesday 14, 21 and 28 May to the composer Arnold Schönberg, the father of seriality and progenitor of the Second Viennese School, on the 150th anniversary of his birth. His piano pieces are flanked by those of Franz Schubert, in a free discussion aimed at bringing together teachers and students of the Academy on stage.
