On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Italy and Korea, in the Apartment of Princess Maria Letizia of Moncalieri Castle, the Savoy Royal Residences - Piedmont National Museums together with the Korean Cultural Institute in Italy propose the exhibition HANJI YEON. Hanji paper and kites. Works by the artist Anna Onesti, dedicated to the encounter between Korean and Italian culture. The protagonists of the exhibition are 30 kites made of traditional Korean Hanji paper by Italian artist Anna Onesti, who has approached the use of this paper, also known as ‘paper of a thousand years', since 2011, creating kites inspired by the Far East tradition, which turn out to be refined paper works dyed with natural colours.
