Community-based movie and cultural festival with a rich program of events, focusing on war, historical memory, mountains, the environment, and social inclusion. The program includes 28 events in 10 towns of the Susa Valley - Condove, Almese, Avigliana, Bardonecchia, Bussoleno, Chianocco, Oulx, San Giorio di Susa, Susa, and Villar Dora - as well as 2 in Torino - on April 25 at the Museo Diffuso della Resistenza and May 17 at the International Book Fair. The 2025 festival is dedicated to Mercedes Sosa (1935-2009), an extraordinary Argentinian singer and activist, who used her art to give voice to human rights struggles and to fight against indifference toward injustices: this edition is inspired by her famous song Sólo le pido a Dios, a powerful call for peace and the rejection of war. But the theme of war and the pursuit of peace runs through the festival program, encouraging reflection on how art and culture can help combat indifference and build a more solidary and aware future. As per tradition, the festival includes screenings of films in and out of competition, theatre performances, concerts, book presentations, and meetings with special guests, engaging schools, associations, local administrations, and citizens.
