Weekend of extraordinary openings, unusual guided tours, live performances and community moments to discover the extraordinary heritage of Piemonte’s fortifications.
The Fortresses of Exilles, Fenestrelle, Gavi, Vinadio, the Opera 5 of Moiola and The Roads of the Fortresses, united in a single widespread cultural circuit, welcome visitors with a programme of activities for everyone: history, architecture, music and theatre but also nature and the outdoors.
In particular, on the afternoon of Sunday 22 at the Exilles Fortress there will be Exilles Extra Band, concerts by three bands from the Susa Valley together with Bandakadabra, Bandaradan and Sync Brass. On the same day, at the Gavi Fortress the actress Lella Costa will give a varied, dynamic and curious portrait of a girl who, although very young and illiterate, managed to influence the course of Great History: Joan of Arc.
On Saturday 21, instead, at the Vinadio Fortress, the philosopher, essayist and psychoanalyst Umberto Galimberti will lead to the discovery of the ethics of the wanderer, that nomadic proceeding that takes on the burden of the absence of a purpose and a goal.
