On the occasion of the Torino Film Festival, Turismo Torino e Provincia is proposing the Welcome Tour® Torino and the Cinema: a journey through history and movie sets for Saturday 30 November, taking you on a discovery of the historical past and the contemporary liveliness of cinema in Italia, experiencing the emotion of being on a set and immersing yourself in the iconic locations that have served as the backdrop for famous films. Meet in Piazza Castello, in front of the Tourist Office.
Same day for Welcome Tour® Pinerolo Special Belle Epoque: a walk in the Villa Prever area, a plunge into the past to discover what was once a suburban district of the city, home to Art Nouveau-style parks and gardens. Meeting point in Viale della Rimembranza 61.
Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December, board the red City Sightseeing® Torino panoramic bus to admire the 27th edition of Luci d’Artista from above: an exciting one-hour tour in Italian, English and French of the city’s most famous contemporary art light installations. Start from Piazza Castello at 5.30pm.
There is also another proposal for Sunday 1, again at 5.30pm but this time on foot: Nature in the city under the Luci d’Artista. An environmental excursionist guide will lead you along a 7.4km urban trek that joins the Dora Riparia river, in its city part reconquered by nature, the Dora Park, with the pulsating market centre of Piazza della Repubblica, to then return from Borgo Dora, with its unsuspected ‘Venetian’ past. Departure and arrival from Via Livorno.
Reservations are required for all tours.
