The Committee for the Protection of the Heritage and Traditions of the International Association Regina Elena Odv celebrates the 700th anniversary of the dedication of the Church of St John as a parish church. At 9.20 a.m. Dr. Andrea Carnino will introduce those present to the wonders kept in the church, followed by a Holy Mass; at 11.00 a.m. a solemn ceremony will be held in the Salone delle Feste of the Asilo Picco, during which the special certificate created to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the Principality of Piedmont will be awarded to the excellences of Avigliana. The ceremony will be attended by the historical groups "La Corte del Conte Rosso", "Contea di Collegno dell'Associazione San Lorenzo", "Gruppo Storico Medievale di Ivrea e del Canavese IJ Ruset" and "Gruppo Storico Yporegia".
