October confirms itself as the perfect month to savour Italian culinary excellence, with four weekends dedicated to authentic flavours and local traditions. From 5 to 27 October 2024, the PalaExpo in Moncalieri will once again be transformed into a showcase of the best gastronomic delicacies, involving master brewers, wineries of excellence and local producers. A Journey of Flavours: Events and Dates to Mark Every weekend, visitors will be greeted by a rich calendar of events, with a food and wine proposal that will surprise and delight all palates. Here are the details of the main events: Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October: The famous National Tripe Fair of Moncalieri returns to celebrate this historic dish, which dates back to medieval times. Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October: Ottobeer & Street Food Fest will offer a unique selection of high-quality street food and craft beers, perfect for lovers of bold flavours. Saturday 19 October: Chef Ugo Fontanone of the Fra Fiusch restaurant will be the star of the evening with his legendary Gran Fritto Misto alla Piemontese. Sunday 20 October: A tribute to Piedmontese tradition with His Majesty Il Bollito, a dish that has represented the culinary excellence of the region since 1400. Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October: Pro Loco Days will close the festival with a selection of local delicacies prepared by 20 Pro Loco in Piedmont, in a true celebration of traditional flavours.
