In the sometimes ‘transgressive' spirit that has always characterised the festival, based on the contrast between philological approaches to the baroque repertoire and its free reinterpretations, this year a unique confrontation between a baroque cellist and a modern accordionist is proposed: two young concert performers approach three greats of the past, all born in 1685.
